Joel 2:27-32
"Thus you will know that I am in the midst of Israel And that I am the LORD your God, And there is no other, And My people will never be put to shame. "It will come about after this That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind, And your sons and daughters will prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young men will see visions."Even on the male and female servants, I will pour out My Spirit in those days.

'For I will pour out water on the thirsty land And streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring And My blessing on your descendants;
Zechariah 12:8-10
"In that day the LORD will defend
the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the one who is feeble among them in that day
will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of
the LORD before them. "And in that day I will set about to destroy all the
nations that come against Jerusalem. "I will pour out on the house of
David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of
supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they
will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly
over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn.

While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who were listening to the message. All the circumcised believers who came with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. For they were hearing them speaking with tongues and exalting God. Then Peter answered,

no one can refuse the water for these to be baptized who have received the Holy
Spirit just as we did, can he?" And he ordered them to be baptized in the
name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay on for a few days.
