God of faithfulness

God of faithfulness
The idea that lies behind the Hebrew word ’Emunah is certainty or reliability. The God of faithfulness is more true to His people than they have ever been to Him. Even when we fail Him, He is willing to forgive us and restore relationship with us.

God of faithfulness in Hebrew:

’El ’Emunah
Strong’s Concordance numbers: 410, 530

Bible reference: Deut. 32:4

I proclaim the name of the Lord;
Ascribe greatness to our God!
The Rock! His work is perfect,
For all His ways are just;
A God of faithfulness and without injustice,
Righteous and upright is He.
 (Deuteronomy 32:4)

In KJV the name is God of truth and the NIV describes Him as the faithful God.
Jeremiah spoke of God’s faithfulness toward sinful people in a well-known passage:
It is because of the Lord‘s mercies that we are not consumed because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

Two related Hebrew names for God are Faithful God and a name that is rendered God of truth and fidelity (or faithfulness) in the Amplified Bible. Jesus is called Faithful and true in the book of Revelation.
